Primary Care Physician
An outpatient practice in Sun City Center seeks a patient-oriented and compassionate physician to join their growing staff.
About the Opportunity
- Specialty: Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics
- Hours: Monday-Friday standard business hours
- Call: Rotated telephone only call
Responsibilities:
- Examine patients, obtain medical history, and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to inform treatment plans.
- Create personalized treatment plans involving patients and family members.
- Initiate specialty referrals as needed.
- Collaborate with management, physicians, and staff to improve care delivery and service.
- Closely work with the care team to address quality gaps and measure improvement.
- Ensure compliance with billing and coding requirements through collaboration with practice management.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in the State of Florida.
- Board Eligible/Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics.
