Pediatric Hospitalist physician job in New Jersey :
A reputable healthcare facility in New Jersey is currently seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join their team on a Per Diem basis. This role involves providing high-quality inpatient and newborn nursery care in a dynamic hospital setting.
About the Opportunity :
Start Date : ASAP
Schedule : Per Diem
Hours : 8am to 8pm (12-hour shifts)
Setting : Inpatient & Newborn Nursery
Caseload : 20-35 per day
Responsibilities :
Providing medical care to pediatric and newborn patients in the inpatient and nursery units
Performing procedures such as lumbar punctures as needed
Collaborating with full-time attending physicians to deliver comprehensive care
Documenting patient care accurately and efficiently in EPIC
Maintaining compliance with all hospital policies and regulatory requirements
Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications :
2 years of Inpatient Pediatric and Newborn Nursery Care experience
Board Certification in Pediatrics
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records
Strong procedural skills, including lumbar punctures
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Desired Skills :

Ability to work efficiently in high-volume settings
Commitment to delivering compassionate and patient-centered care
Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w / o US residency with current US work visa.
