In this role, theFamily / Internal Medicine Physician will be responsible for providingprimary medical care to patients at the Diagnostic Treatment Center or at home as needed.

TheFamily / Internal Medicine Physician will :
- Complete initial assessment and evaluation of new patients
- Provideongoing monitoring of patients medical condition and provides the treatment
- Orderprescription medications and diagnostic procedures
- Authorizeand coordinateall specialty and ancillary services
- Providein-service staff development and clinical teaching of trainees rotating through the Medical practice
- Participatein the development of such programs as preventive health screening, immunization programs, professional community outreach, quality assurance, etc.
- Participatein a wide range of clinical and epidemiologic research projects and studies of the frail elderly
- Participatein multidisciplinary team activities, including case conferences, hospitalization reports, and family and team meetings
- Completeother duties as assigned
