Job Details
A New York City-based entertainment organization is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a new Desktop Engineer. In this role, the Desktop Engineer will be responsible for managing and securing a fleet of client devices.
***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 4 days a week at either their New York City office or their Bethpage, Long Island.***
Responsibilities:
- Manage enterprise device management platforms, including Microsoft InTune, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), JAMF Pro, and Apple Business Manager
- Deploy software updates, security updates, and operating system upgrade
- Build software update deployment packages for Windows and macOS
- Assist with the development and enhancement of Windows AutoPilot
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience managing and supporting Microsoft Active Directory
- 3 years of experience managing and supporting SCCM
- 3 years of experience managing and supporting JAMF Pro
- 3 years of experience packaging software and security updates
- 1 years of experience with Microsoft EndPoint Management (InTune)
- 1 years of experience with Microsoft PowerShell scripting
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, and/or a related field
- Strong understanding of macOS and Windows, including their architecture, security features, and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of deploying Windows 10/11 operating systems
- Experience with zero-touch provisioning workflows
- Strong knowledge of networking and Server Administration
- Experience with Microsoft SQL databases
- Experience with Microsoft Graph
- Strong knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) practices
- Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
