A Fortune 50 financial services company is currently seeking a highly motivated Functional Tester for their client in the McLean, VA area. The position will focus on performing integration, regression, and functional testing to ensure compliance with system requirements and company business practices and policies.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: Hybrid to Vienna, VA
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 4:30pm (EST)
- Setting: Corporate environment
Responsibilities:
- Performing integration, regression, and functional testing to ensure systems meet functional and business requirements
- Assisting in the analysis of functional and technical requirements
- Creating and editing test cases for new or modified systems
- Executing tests and documenting results
- Managing the defect lifecycle and ensuring timely resolution of defects
Qualifications:
- 3 years of Functional Testing experience
- Experience with functional testing, including test case creation and execution
- Proficiency in services testing using Postman
- Experience with ALM, Azure DevOps, and SQL
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Desired Skills:
- 1 year of experience with Automated Testing tools
- Bachelor's Degree
- ISTQB or equivalent certification
- Experience with Perfecto automation tools
- Ability to manage the Bug lifecycle and defect management processes
