A financial services company in Florida is looking to add a new Service Desk Technician on a Part Time basis to their team in Pensacola.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Friday to Tuesday
- Hours: 9am to 1pm
- Hybrid or Remote: Hybrid
- Training: First two weeks (Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm (EST)
Responsibilities:
- Responding to inbound calls daily to provide technical support/troubleshooting
- Providing support via web queues, outbound interactions, and emails
- Leveraging resources to resolve technical issues timely
- Documenting, maintaining, and reporting functions/activities
- Attending weekly staff/mentor meetings
- Remaining cognizant of adherence to help promote business unit success
- Performing other related duties as assigned or appropriate
Qualifications:
- Knowledge and understanding of the Information Technology field
- Basic skill troubleshooting and resolving technical problems
- Exposure to enterprise systems and IT terminology
- Exposure to solving routine or standard administrative, operational, or system problems and issues
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to leverage finesse/soft skills when interacting with end users
- Basic organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Desired Skills:
- 3 years of Tier 1 support and capabilities or similar
- Call Center and/or Front-line Customer Support experience
- Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
- Familiarity with ticketing software (ServiceNow)
