What are the responsibilities and job description for the License Eligible Therapist position at Tandym?
A health services network in Minnesota is currently seeking a new Licensed Eligible Therapist to join their growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic and counseling programs and services for assigned students, including individual and group therapy sessions
- Conduct student assessments and evaluations to determine abilities and needs with regard to cognitive, behaviors, social, and emotional development
- Develop therapy plans, activities, and experiences which addresses the identified goals and objectives
- Prepare materials for planned activities and therapy sessions
- Collect and record behavioral and progress-related data obtained from therapy sessions and other program activities
- Evaluate students' achievements and progress pertaining to therapeutic and behavioral programs
- Consult with supervisors, academic peers, and other staff relating to student treatment plans and needs
- Provide behavioral consultation and guidance to other staff working with assigned student
- Review admissions packets and participate in pre-placement interviews
- Implement crisis intervention strategies, as needed
- Perform other work, as assigned
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, and/or Social Work
- Must be license eligible and have a supervision contract in place that ensures they are obtaining supervision toward licensure
