A specialty practice in New Jersey is actively seeking a self-motivated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join their staff.

About the Opportunity

  • Setting : Inpatient and Outpatient
  • Specialty : Neurology / Epilepsy
  • Patient demographics : Primarily Pediatrics patients
  • Schedule : Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Call : Once per month

Responsibilities

The Family Nurse Practitioner will :

  • Perform complete history and physical examinations on patients within the outpatient clinic and the medical centers
  • Clearly discriminate between abnormal and normal findings when evaluating the history, physical examination, and laboratory tests
  • Identify patient problems and develop further treatment plans and modalities in concert with the supervising physician
  • Make complete entries in the EMR utilizing evidence-based practice

    • Qualifications

  • Recent graduates are encouraged to apply!
  • Active New Jersey State Family Nurse Practitioner license
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with EMR charting

    • Desired skills

  • Neuroscience Nursing and Critical Care experience

    • Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
