Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, including budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and is comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Quickbooks online is a must. Previous experience with construction industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records through double-entry bookkeeping using Quickbooks online
- Manage accounts payable
- Develop and monitor budgets to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to provide insights into the company’s performance.
- Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with external CPA during tax preparation and assist in preparing necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and public accounting standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles, including debits, credits, and journal entries.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial report writing.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks online
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and external stakeholders.
- A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not mandatory.
