Working on the Operations Department
We are looking for an Executive Chef to help deliver high-quality, innovative, and consistent meals that reflect Tangelo’s brand and nutritional standards. This role plays a key part in menu development, R&D, ingredient sourcing, and ensuring recipes are executed with precision from concept to plate.

The compensation range listed represents the total cash value, which includes a combination of base salary and an annual bonus or variable compensation. This range does not account for equity, which is included in the overall compensation package.

Working on the Operations Department
We are looking for an Executive Chef to help deliver high-quality, innovative, and consistent meals that reflect Tangelo’s brand and nutritional standards. This role plays a key part in menu development, R&D, ingredient sourcing, and ensuring recipes are executed with precision from concept to plate.
What You’ll Get To Do
- Report to the EVP of Operations.
- Develop menus aligned with Tangelo’s brand and member health goals, collaborating with dietitians to meet nutritional standards.
- Innovate, test, and refine recipes based on trends, feedback, and nutritional goals.
- Source high-quality, cost-effective ingredients, adjusting menus as needed based on availability and cost.
- Collaborate with production kitchens to ensure accurate recipe execution and maintain consistency across all locations.
- Implement standardized processes, conduct quality audits, and maintain detailed recipe documentation to ensure brand and nutritional standards.
- Oversee small-batch production at the Meal Innovation Center in Tampa.
- Collaborate with RD and Member Support teams to ensure product offerings are cost-effective and high-quality.
- 10 years of experience in culinary development, menu planning, or a comparable food operations role.
- Deep knowledge of nutrition-forward cooking, food safety standards, and large-scale food production.
- Experience working in a Healthtech or startup environment preferred, with the ability to adapt quickly and operate with a build-and-iterate mindset.
- Must be based in Tampa and available to work on-site at our facility 5 days a week.
