Description : JOB SUMMARY

The extrusion mechanic will be responsible for completing maintenance tasks and repairs while contributing to a safe and cost-effective work environment.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitates the maintenance of all pump and filtration systems including diagnosis, troubleshooting, evaluating and repair.
  • Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment, supplies related to pump filtration and safe-ty procedures.
  • Maintain, repair, and install a wide variety of machine parts, components and equipment.
  • Effectively communicate with peers, production associates, and supervision.

Requirements :

REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • Must have experience and knowledge of machine operation and troubleshooting
  • Must demonstrate an understanding of safe work environment and have a proven ability to work safely
  • Must have a solid work history showing the ability to maintain a good attendance record
  • Must have your own set of standard tools
  • Plastic extrusion experience is a plus

    • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Associates degree / certificate in related field or
  • Comparable manufacturing experience

    • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Intermittent periods of crouching, kneeling, working in confined areas and in varied temperatures and out-doors as necessary to safely service equipment.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
