In our continued mission to deliver the best value, experience and opportunity for our communities, stakeholders and partners using customer insights and experience, we are seeking an AVP, Tenant Coordination who will be responsible for the overall supervision of the tenant coordination team, including training and development and managing the build-out of tenant spaces within an assigned property portfolio. This position will report directly to the Vice President, Design & Coordination with geographic flexibility to work remotely offered by Tanger's hub-and-spoke approach to a modern Teams-driven workplace.

About the Role :

We are looking for a Assistant Vice President of Tenant Coordination to oversee project delivery, budget performance, and team management, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and lease obligations. You manage tenant space planning, negotiate work letters, and maintain communication with tenants, property management, and leasing teams. You select vendors, prepare construction drawings, secure permits, and review budgets and contractor invoices. Additionally, you handle landlord drawing reviews and act as a liaison for new property developments, ensuring all stakeholders meet landlord delivery requirements.

Leading the Tenant Coordination team, you collaborate with Leasing, Legal, and Field teams to achieve goals, improve processes, and manage budgets. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and financial acumen are key in driving efficient project delivery and making informed decisions.

About You :

Your education includes a bachelor's degree from an accredited university and a minimum of 12 years of experience in retail construction, property management, or tenant coordination, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.

You ensure effective communication across all team members and project stakeholders, keeping everyone aligned and informed throughout the process.

You collaborate with internal teams, including Leasing, Legal, and Field teams, to drive successful project execution.

You take initiative to improve the project delivery process, driving efficiency and continuous improvement.

You bring a detail-oriented approach with excellent organization and project management skills, ensuring smooth operations.

You demonstrate strong financial acumen, articulating the financial implications of decisions and collaborating with senior management to assess their impact.

You are able to travel via commercial airlines and maintain a valid driver's license to operate your own vehicle or rental car in a safe manner. This position requires up to 30% travel.

Hiring Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Tanger's total compensation package for employees.

Hiring Range : $122,000- $187,000 per year
