About The Role :
Our client combines best-in-class IoT-enabled sensors, UV-C technology, and connected data to create an unparalleled ecosystem in efficacy and sustainability that fundamentally changes the health of any building. Their IoT and analytics infrastructure is at an inflection point for extensibility and scale, and they are looking for a versatile, hands-on Data Engineer to help guide this transition.
As the founding Data Engineer, you will spend most of your time designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and the data warehouse. The team is small with a diverse product portfolio, so they will also need your help with database improvements and schema changes to ensure a highly performant app.
To ensure success as a Data Engineer, you should have advanced programming skills, a keen eye for detail, experience building efficient data pipelines for large data volumes, and a desire to be an integral part of the software development effort.
Responsibilities
Build data pipelines :
- Design, develop, and implement data pipelines to dedupe and clean incoming sensor data.
- Create robust, scalable, and maintainable data infrastructure.
- Design and implement flexible data models to enable analysis across business domains and instrument data quality checks to ensure accurate reporting.
- Contribute to the data architecture at our client.
