Essential Duties
- Participate in all phases of software development, from ideation to implementation and support.
- Support and maintain applications and web services that handle large-scale data and high transaction volumes.
- Document and maintain source control systems.
- Collaborate with developers, project management, and operations to interpret business requirements and translate them into precise technical solutions.
- Verify software operation to ensure functional and technical requirements are met.
- Deliver high-quality software products.
- Actively contribute to product launches and deployments.
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Attend product and user meetings as required.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
- 5–7 years designing, building, and maintaining applications or web services with complex messaging systems.
- Proficiency in .NET Core, SQL, and web services (REST), Experience with front-end frameworks such as React is a plus.
- Background in Line of Business (LOB) Applications and consumer-facing websites.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Experience in consumer-facing, e-commerce, or mobile systems is a plus.
- Experience with agile methodologies is a plus
- Strong ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines with a collaborative work style.
- Full software development lifecycle expertise, end-to-end.
- Demonstrates initiative, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong time-management skills and self-motivation.
- Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing requests and perform in high-pressure environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and capable of following through on tasks and projects.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
