Summary
The Fulfillment Specialist role for Tangram Technology is responsible for warehousing, inventory, shipping & receiving, and operational support objectives. The Fulfillment Specialist will manage a diverse range of professional grade AV products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Fulfillment Specialist’s day-to-day duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
*Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damages, defects, or discrepancies.
*Verify accuracy of shipment contents against purchase orders or invoices.
*Prepare and process shipping documentation.
*Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-up and delivery of shipments.
*Drive company vehicle to pick up and drop off shipments.
*Ensure proper storage and handling of incoming and outgoing products.
*Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages.
*Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
*Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding shipping and receiving issues.
*Prepare pallet, and other material handling equipment as needed.
*Process all RMA’s in a timely manner ensuring product is returned to vendor and credit memo received.
*Track all outstanding PO’s and update material list as needed.
*Work with other (Dallas) location on transferring equipment when necessary.
*Stage product for install upon request and ensure install team acknowledge delivery/receipt.
*Report any issues/discrepancies to Administrative Manager in a timely manner.
*Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.
*Follow all safety protocols to reduce risk of accident/injury while managing workflow.
*Other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements
*High school diploma or equivalent.
*Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving preferred.
*Valid CA Driver’s License.
*Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Basic computer skills.
*Commitment to safety in the workplace.
*Forklift experience (Certification preferred but not necessary).
*Able to work overtime or weekends when needed.
*Take charge personality.
*Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.
*This is a safety-sensitive position.
Physical Requirements
*While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
*Reach with their hands and arms; and communicate verbally.
*Frequently walks, stands and occasionally sits.
*Regularly lift, pull and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 70lbs.
*Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
