The Role : T he Payroll Technician is responsible for performing a range of duties in collaboration with the payroll team to process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls accurately and in a timely manner.
Location(s) : Salinas, CA; Yuma, AZ
Areas of Responsibility :
- Collect payroll records daily from various departments and manually validate them for accuracy.
- Manual calculation of total hours worked daily, entering time in the system, and ensuring breaks and meals are provided and recorded as mandated by law.
- Processing internal payroll reports for accuracy of payroll entries.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in employee timecards.
- Prepare and process weekly payrolls.
- Reconciliation of payments processed, sorting and preparing checks for distribution to employees.
- Scanning, organizing, and storing payroll records.
- Perform other payroll-related duties, including system testing for updates.
