The Role: The person in this position will serve as the Wifi and Network technician responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing the company's network infrastructure. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, collaboration with IT and stakeholders, and the ability to implement solutions that meet emerging requirements. This is an on-site based job with occasional travel to remote sites. On-call and after-hour support on a rotational and as-needed basis is required.

Areas of Responsibility:
- Monitor and analyze all network traffic. Generate reports, create diagrams via Microsoft Visio, and propose solutions to optimize the network while keeping good documentation.
- Design and implement solutions to install and maintain network equipment to support new and emerging requirements.
- Interface, work with, and assist members of the IT Dept on software, network, and hardware issues.
- Provides technical support for the company's network infrastructure, server infrastructure, and software applications.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with users and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide effective solutions that enhance productivity and system usability.
- Identifies high-value opportunities and provides recommendations for projects to pursue
- Ability to lift and implement devices at 30 lbs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university and/or equivalent experience in network engineering.
- Proficiency in deploying and administering routing, switching, wireless, and firewall technologies.
- Experience with load balancing and protocols, including SD-WAN topologies, VPN, and IPSec.
- General understanding of IPv4, IPv6 subnetting.
- Comprehension of current cyber security best practices.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience with Meraki routers, switches, and access points.
- General understanding of Windows and Linux Operating Systems
- Good documentation practice.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Salary : $36 - $43
