ADM - Application Delivery Manager

Location: Troy, MI (Hybrid 2-3 days onsite)
Job Summary

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end operations for a US based retail bank domain is must.
• Project Management:
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex infrastructure projects, including network, server, storage, and security implementations.
• Define project scope, timelines, budget, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
• Monitor project progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), SLA s, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage project dependencies and effectively communicate status updates to stakeholders.

Team Leadership:

• Build and manage a high-performing team of infrastructure engineers, assigning tasks, providing mentorship, and fostering collaboration.
• Develop team capabilities through training and skill development initiatives, ensuring technical proficiency across the team.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.

Technical Expertise:

• Good understanding of various infrastructure technologies including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), network design, data center operations, server virtualization, and security protocols.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the infrastructure landscape to identify potential solutions and improvements.
• Provide guidance and support to the team on complex issues.

Client Relationship Management:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their business needs and ensure project deliverables meet their expectations.
• Proactively address client concerns and manage escalations effectively.
• Conduct regular client reviews and present project status updates.

Cost and Quality Control:

• Monitor project budget and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Implement quality assurance processes to identify and address potential issues early on.

Years of experience needed 15 to 20 years
Technical Skills:

• Preferred bachelor s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure delivery, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing, networking, storage, and security technologies. Prior experience of DC operations, migrations and transformation project.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and budget control.
• Proven leadership abilities to motivate and guide a team of technical professionals.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
