Job Description & Skill Requirement:
Role Summary The CNC Engineer demonstrates leadership in communicating, developing, and executing manufacturing schedules to the set objectives. Supports daily activities in process developments, validation activities, and change management. In this role you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop & execute objectives, & have the ability to meet company objectives within the time lines specifically related to your assigned projects.
Essential Responsibilities
• Insures direct communication between the cross-functional team members and their associated counterparts within the customer organization.
• Support and implement CNC operational updates and Casting Clean Up initiatives.
• Support and help implement process improvements.
• Support on Kaizen and other initiatives and target Shop-floor practice updates.
• Review and Identify Fixturing set up deficiencies where applicable.
• Review and capture In-Process Validation Steps being utilized and identify cycle time’s associated.
• Provide process improvements concepts to the In-Process Validation Steps with current technologies.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience is required developing programs and machining products.
Qualifications/Requirements
• B.S in Engineering, Technical Practice, or Equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering, quality, or Production and Manufacturing Operations in a Automotive or related industry.
• Ability to support the development and execution of continues improvement initiatives.
• Has knowledge in CNC Machining, Welding Processes, and Quality Control.
