Job Descriptions:
" Designing and developing data models that define how data is stored, processed, and accessed. This includes creating conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
" Designing solutions to integrate data from various sources within the organization, ensuring that data from different systems can be combined and used cohesively.
" Implementing security measures to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access, ensuring data privacy and compliance with regulations.
" Optimizing data systems for improved performance, ensuring that data can be accessed and processed efficiently.
" Establishing data governance frameworks and standards to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with policies and regulations.
" Developing and implementing an overall organizational data strategy that aligns with business processes.
" Planning and executing data migration projects, moving data from legacy systems to new platforms.
Skills:
" Expertise in data modelling techniques and database design principles using ERWIN and other data model tool.
" Knowledge of data integration tools and techniques, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
" Understanding of data warehousing concepts and business intelligence tools.
" Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
" Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
" Knowledge of data security best practices and compliance regulations.
" Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve data-related issues.
