Product design experience with any of the systems : Door Control Units, Seat Control Modules and Seat Switches, Headlamp Control Modules - Low & High variants for Left & Right, Remote Keyfob , Keyless Entry / Keyless Start / Mobile Device Key Antennas, Overhead Console, Rain / Light Sensor on Glass, Rearview Mirror, Heated Windscreen Module, Safety Electronics - RCM Sensors, Auxiliary Power & I/O Hub, Traffic Horns, Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System
- Be responsible for the electrical hardware design of all body electronics modules, sensors, and actuators under your span of control. You will cover from clean sheet of paper through virtual development, testing/sign-off and manufacturing launch for all-electric pick-up and rugged SUVs.
- Work with Purchasing and Finance counterparts to develop technical specifications in support of the quoting and sourcing process for components under your control.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, or combined electrical/mechanical engineering, systems engineering, or a relevant field.
- Have extensive experience in body electrical and/or electromechanical areas and relevant automotive assignments, covering all phases of product development (design, test, and launch).
- Strong technical skills and expertise in body control systems, employing a six-sigma approach to engineering design and problem-solving.
