Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Teamcenter PLM Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and support of Siemens Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. This role involves working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams to ensure optimal system performance and alignment with business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Teamcenter PLM applications.
- Manage user accounts, roles, and access permissions.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Develop and maintain workflows, structures, and configurations in Teamcenter.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Create and maintain system documentation, training materials, and best practices.
- Support data migration, integration with CAD/ERP systems, and customization efforts.
- Monitor system performance and implement enhancements as needed.
- Provide end-user support and conduct training sessions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience as a Teamcenter PLM Administrator or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Teamcenter Unified Architecture (UA) and Active Workspace.
- Experience with installation, configuration, and customization of Teamcenter modules (e.g., Workflow Designer, Structure Manager, Change Manager).
- Solid understanding of CAD integration (e.g., NX, SolidWorks, CATIA) with Teamcenter.
- Strong knowledge of PLM concepts, BOM management, and lifecycle workflows.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, databases (Oracle/SQL Server), and scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Perl, or Python).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Siemens Opcenter and integration with Teamcenter.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with cloud-based PLM deployments.
- Siemens Teamcenter certification is a plus.
