The Associate Technical Writer works closely with Tanium customers to develop technical documentation to accompany our platform and products. You will be responsible for developing consumable, accurate and timely documentation, from which Tanium's prospects, customers, and partners derive real value.What You'll Do : Work closely with our customers to : Plan and write security software guides, knowledge articles, as well as other documentationGather data through research, reports, dashboards, and technical interviewsCreate basic flow diagramsProduce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals in accordance with project scopeCollaborate with technical contributors to ensure complex topics are addressedEnsure assigned projects and tasks remain on scheduleManage updates and revisions to technical literatureReview technical material for consistency and accuracyWe're Looking For : EducationBA / BS or equivalent experience desired from the following : Journalism / English / Communications / Computer Science / EngineeringExperience2 to 7 years experience writing or editing content for a variety of audiencesDocumenting for operating system environmentFamiliarity with XML and HTMLWorking with users to document processes and proceduresFamiliarity topic-based / structured authoring, and single-sourcing preferredDemonstrate clear, concise, and precise documentation of technical subject matter and proceduresDemonstrate strong verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and strong command of English languageSkilled at prioritization and multitaskingFamiliarity with security software / productsAble to meet deadlinesAble to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiencesAble to work independently or as part of a teamAbout TaniumTanium delivers the industry's only true real-time cloud-based endpoint management and security offering. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire.
