The Basics :
As a member of Tanium’s Brand and Corporate Marketing team, the Back-End Developer reports to the Web Architect to maintain legacy code and build out new features and functionality for Tanium websites. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in WordPress, as well as a deep understanding of Object-Oriented PHP and SQL.
This is a hybrid position, which will require in-person attendance several days each week in one of the following locations : Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.
What you’ll do :
- Collaborate with a distributed team of front-end developers, content managers, and designers
- Build new features and functionality for Tanium websites
- Maintain and update existing components and libraries
- Write secure, reusable code for WordPress and proprietary web architectures
- Optimize legacy code for scalability and efficiency
- Recognize, identify, and patch vulnerabilities in the code

What you’ll get :
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000 to $215,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors.
In addition to an annual base salary, team members will receive equity awards and a generous benefits package consisting of medical, dental and vision plan, family planning benefits, health savings account, flexible spending account, transportation savings account, 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match, life, accident and disability coverage, business travel accident insurance, employee assistance programs, and other well-being benefits.
