Production Control Clerk Duties and Responsibilities:
Establishes and maintains a variety of manual and computerized files and records such as work orders, part labels, and paint and shipping manifests for the purpose of providing documentation in accordance with administrative and production control requirements.
- Print, organize and release Galvanized part tags.
- Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and collating.
- Check manifests for accuracy before releasing to production.
- Assists Production Planners and Specialists with tasks as needed.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Production Control Clerk Skills and Specifications:
Excellent phone etiquette.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with G-Suite, MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Aptitude to learn and use ETO/ERP and PDM software.
- Solid problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage multi-task work in a strong-paced environment.
- Able to work alone on a broad variety of projects.
- Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in the course of work.
Willingness to work additional hours in order to meet tight deadlines.
Production Control Clerk Education and Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
6 months – 1 year relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Production Control Clerk Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of Production Control Clerk, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Production Control Clerk Work Environment:
While performing the duties of Production Control Clerk, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
