Job Summary
The VP of Information Technology is responsible for leading the IT department and strategy for Tank Holding Corp. This position will be responsible for overseeing IT security, project management and software integrations as well as providing insights to support the company’s growth. Based in Mound, MN, this position requires strong leadership skills, a strong understanding of production ERP systems and a proven track record of driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the IT team and provide direction, guidance and training to IT staff
- Develop strategy as it relates to the company’s IT infrastructure
- Effectively deploy IT resources and align and integrate business objectives and policies across multiple brands and new acquisitions
- Consult senior level stakeholders across the organization to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of IT
- Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems and performance
- Support M&A integration planning and execution as required
- Proactively identify opportunities to exploit new technologies to achieve business objectives, and identify opportunities to improve enterprise data
- Lead and direct cybersecurity efforts
- Oversee negotiation and administration of vendors, outsource and consultant contracts and service agreements
- Manage telecom and physical security systems
Required Education, Experience and Skills
- A minimum of 15 years’ experience in IT, including a minimum of five years in a senior leadership position.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
- Experience with both large companies with established IT infrastructures and small, fast-paced, growing companies where systems and processes need to be designed and implemented.
- IT experience within a manufacturing or multi-location environment preferred.
- Experience hiring, training, managing, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.
- Ability to partner with the broader Executive Leadership team on key business initiatives. This position requires a strong business acumen to collaborate on key business drivers and trends.
- Experience in the consolidation of platforms resulting from M&A activity.
- Ability to identify innovative approaches to solving challenging problems.
- Experience in managing IT projects, including successfully setting priorities, meeting schedules, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with the implementation of technical applications and communications across multiple locations using current technology.
- Well versed in IT security issues as well as technologies to protect company assets.

Salary : $200,000 - $225,000
