Job Summary:
The Collection Specialist is a full-time, customer-facing role supporting A/R activities at Tank Holding Corp. This position requires strong communication skills, knowledge of the order-to-cash process, cash applications, and collections, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. The ideal candidate will demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage National customer accounts.
- Reconcile disputes/short payments.
- Work within customer portals
- Cash Applications support - back up to cash applications process
- Fulfill customer documentation requests related to invoices and payments.
- Interface with Business teams to gather additional information on open balances.
- Participate in process improvements.
- Assist with audit requests as needed.
- Other duties as deemed necessary to support the Company’s business operations.
- Ability to create excel reports to support other areas such as sales teams. Manager Intercompany Customer accounts with A/P
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Associate degree preferred with at least two years of experience – manufacturing experience a plus!
- General knowledge of credit and collections practices
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Infor XA PowerLink or Sage MAS 500 experience is a plus.
- Excellent attendance & punctuality within core business hours
- Ability to multitask.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
