Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team. The Tax Manager will be responsible for managing the companys tax compliance, reporting, and planning functions. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations. The Tax Manager will work closely with internal teams and external advisors to develop strategies that optimize our tax position while minimizing risk.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee and provide support to external tax advisors in the preparation and review of international, federal, state, and local tax returns to ensure timely and accurate filing.
Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize the companys tax position.
Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations, staying current on new tax laws and changes in legislation.
Lead the tax planning process, including forecasting and budgeting for tax liabilities.
Manage tax audits and work with tax authorities to resolve issues and minimize tax risks.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary financial data and ensure proper tax treatment of business transactions.
Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on tax-related matters and best practices.
Assist external advisors in preparation and review of tax provision calculations for financial statement reporting under applicable accounting standards.
Liaise with external tax advisors, consultants, and auditors to ensure alignment on tax strategies and compliance.
Analyze and interpret tax data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for business decision-making.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Experience with tax planning, compliance, and provision calculations.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex tax concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Minimum Education and Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or advanced degree preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA certification or equivalent.
Experience in the manufacturing or similar industry.
Familiarity with international tax regulations and transfer pricing.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to make coordinated movements of the fingers for data entry on a keyboard. Ability to occasionally lift, pull/push up to 40 pounds. Corporate office environment.
