We are looking for Petroleum & Propane Gas Metering Technician for our Spokane facility.
We are looking for a technician/mechanically motivated person to perform testing and repairs on gas metering equipment and pumps for fuel tanker truck and trailer rigs. Work is to be done both in shop and at local customer locations. Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, kneel, crouch, and be in awkward positions for an extended period, and be willing to work inside and outside in all weather conditions. We are looking for a person(s) who has a good positive attitude and works well in a team setting.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform mechanical & electrical diagnostics and repair on mobile gas metering systems.
- Remove, repair & install meters.
- Prior experience with electronic/mechanical measuring equipment preferred.
- Prior knowledge and experience complying with National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) Weights & Measures.
- Prior experience with meter proving, maintenance and repair.
- Inventory control for ordering & tracking metering components.
- Must hold a current driver's license and be able to safely operate company vehicles.
- CDL or Class B license are a plus
- Must have basic computer skills, Microsoft Office, Outlook & Excel experience.
