A key member of the pharmacy department team, this position requires a wide array of interpersonal as well as organizational skills. This person is responsible for accurate management of dispensing and clinical functions within the department, supervising technician and support personnel, provision of information to other professionals, computer order entry, and provision of appropriate patient care as a member of the pharmaceutical care team. Job responsibilities and assignments may vary with demonstrated skills and qualifications. Education Doctor of Pharmacy Experience One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures. Licenses & Certifications *Georgia Pharmacist Licensure Qualifications *Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy. *Certification through the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties is recognized. *Ability to interact and work well in a team-oriented environment. *Ability to work well in high-stress situations. *Needs computer skills in various program requirements. *Professional as well as pleasant demeanor when dealing with departmental, interdepartmental, and public personnel. ,

Rotating schedules vary by shift and will be discussed in the interview process. This is a 24-hour facility and will have shifts that cover primarily 1st and 2nd with occasional 3rd shift coverage necessary. Weekend and holidays on rotation.
