Painter II performs engineering duties in accordance with hospital policy and procedure. This person is knowledgeable in all areas of interior and exterior painting and wall coverings. applying as well as removal. Other work will include a variety of different tasks requiring knowledge in general building maintenance. ceiling tile replacement, sheet rock patching, furniture moving, routine test and light bulb change outs.
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Experience
One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.
Qualifications
- 1-year commercial carpentry or painter experience required. Commercial building maintenance experience preferred but not required.
- Read ? Ability to read safety rules instructions in the use and maintenance of tools and equipment, ability to read and interpret written instructions (Work Orders)
- Speak ? Ability to speak clearly and distinctly primarily to convey problems and work status to others.
- Write ? Ability to summarize work progress in work order form, write for content more important than grammatical correctness.
