340B Program Analyst - Pharmacy (Days) (Remote)

The 340B Program Analyst is responsible for auditing and ensuring compliance with the 340B Drug Pricing Program by conducting thorough self-audits, monitoring contract pharmacy activities, and verifying adherence to program regulations, such as preventing duplicate discounts and drug diversion. This role emphasizes maintaining accurate records and data integrity, ensuring all documentation aligns with regulatory requirements. The analyst works closely with internal teams -- including pharmacy, IT, and finance -- to support purchasing and inventory processes and provide detailed financial and compliance reports.

Additionally, the 340B Program Analyst educates staff on 340B-related procedures, develops training programs, and identifies opportunities for cost savings and program improvement. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential, with a focus on program integrity and accurate record-keeping.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Education: No minimum degree requirement. Associate degree in pharmacy, healthcare administration, business, accounting, or a related field is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in pharmacy or accounting is preferred. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of specialized practices and procedures, along with proficiency in Microsoft applications.

Qualifications Needs proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and advanced skills in Excel) to include 340B software, electronic health records, and various vendor systems.

• Needs to be familiar with pharmacy dispensing software and 340B split-billing software desirable.
• Capability to not only perform, but to excel in a high stress environment.
• Complete 340B University training and certification within 6 months of hire.
• If a pharmacy technician, prefer registration with the Georgia and/or Alabama Boards of Pharmacy and certified through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board.
• Professional as well as pleasant demeanor when dealing with departmental, interdepartmental, and public personnel. This includes virtual encounters.
• Maintains records related to job function and contributes to reports. Ensures appropriate documentation and audit trail across areas of responsibility. Routinely communicates any questions, issues, or discrepancies with the appropriate authority.
