- Answers Information Desk telephones and provides information for room numbers, directions, and other information as needed. Must maintain highest level of HIPPA compliance in all interactions. Must be done while practicing exceptional customer service initiatives at all times.
- Check waiting area of ICU when volunteer is not on duty and see if there are guests who need assistance and check for general maintenance needs of the area
- Maintains two wheelchairs in lock up at all times and cleans after each use while utilizing required cleaning practice protocol and safety to self while cleaning.
- Notifies Help Desk concerning maintenance needs of lobby and notifies security if there are any disruptive guests in the lobby.
- Provides directional and general assistance to visitors/guests and walk them as much as possible to their destination.
- Assist Volunteer Services Department in keeping accurate and up to date information in the Telephone Directory.
