MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT- AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!!
Tanner Springs Assisted Living & Memory care in West Linn, Oreogn is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Assistant who is looking to becoming an essential part of our team. You will help the community with their maintenance needs.
These duties include, but are not limited to:
- Primarily responsible for general and operating maintenance of the community, life safety programs and working with the Maintenance Director. The Maintenance Director is an awesome guy looking for someone to help support his department.
- HVAC Equipment
- Lighting/Electrical Maintenance
- Sprinkler System
- Fire Safety Evacuation Program
- Supervision of Housekeeping
- Supervision of Lawn Services
- Scheduling of Inspections per State Regulations
- Compliance with Local Code/State Regulations
- Routine repair/maintenance of building, resident rooms, common areas
Requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience and 2-year preferred
- Must possess a clean driving record
- Assisted Living/Long-Term Care experience preferred
- Basic technical knowledge and mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment
- Requires the ability to manage vendors, purchase supplies, budget management, control inventory, maintain and document proper record keeping logs for the community; as well as recruit, hire, train, supervise, schedule, motivate and manage the housekeeping team
- Knowledge of basic safety standards. Prefer knowledge of Assisted Living State Regulations in Washington
- Must have a true interest in working with the senior population
