Duties & Responsibilities:

- Operate shuttle vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of passengers during transit.
- Follow predetermined routes and schedules, picking up and dropping off passengers at designated locations.
- Communicate any route changes or delays to the appropriate personnel.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Provide excellent guest service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking.
- Respond to passenger inquiries and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Maintain accurate records of daily trips, including mileage, fuel consumption and passenger counts.
- Submit required reports and documentation in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch or supervisory personnel using provided communication devices.
- Relay information about traffic conditions, accidents or other incidents that may affect transportation services.
- Keep the interior and exterior of the shuttle clean and presentable at all times.
- Ensure that the vehicle is stocked with necessary supplies, such as maps or informational materials.
- Comply with all applicable regulations and licensing requirements related to passenger transportation.
- Stay informed about changes in traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Valid drivers’ license for use of company vehicles is required
- Comfort with repetitive tasks on a daily basis
- Ability to manage time well, meet imposed deadlines and ability to work flexible hours
- The position requires the ability to lift over 50 pounds occasionally.
- This position requires the ability to stand, walk (6-7 hours at a time), and climb stairs, reach & bend.
- The position requires that the employee be able to read basic chemical labels and write in complete sentences in submitting reports and assessments.
- Ability to communicate appropriately in the workplace
- Ability to meet sanitary skill standards deemed appropriate for position
Education & Experience
- Shuttle/driver experience preferred
- Guest service experience highly desirable
- High school diploma or GED or one (1) year equivalent experience
