Technologies, Inc. While collaborating with members of Tantus’ senior leadership team, you will be empowered to apply your knowledge, skills, and abilities to identify / assess business opportunities, develop / implement capture strategies, and help align solutions with the needs of the client. This position offers a chance to apply your entrepreneurial abilities, establish and expand upon relationships with customers as well as industry partners. Recommend the overall management structure and communications strategy to provide collaborative, responsive interfacing with the customer, identify current and future needs, assess viability of business opportunities and alignment with Tantus’ core capabilities. Your role will be instrumental in the optimization of our competitive position and shaping of account strategies and solutions.
This positionrequires to meet with Tantus leadership occasionally at Tantus HQ in Rosslyn, VA.
- You will maintain contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer’s organization. You will report directly to the Tantus Executive Vice President, and work closely with our Directors of Business Development, Talent Management, Service Delivery, and Corporate Operations.
- Shall develop and maintain a sales opportunity pipeline, help verify / validate opportunities of interest, maintain internal business development, growth, and opportunity capture reports by means of our digital Customer Relationship Management platform. Participate in the development of internal opportunity step review presentations.
- Collaborate with members of Tantus’ proposal, operations, and delivery teams to develop responses to the government’s market research requests, sources sought notifications, and requests for information.
- Attend industry and networking events as well as conferences (virtual and in-person) related to the DLA JETS 2.0 IDIQ.
- Develop and implement DLA account plan to include business development goals and objectives as well as targeted opportunities for capture.
- Lead stakeholder relationship management activities related to customer programs such as call plans, engagement, organizational culture, understanding of leadership vision, mission objectives, operational requirements and future initiatives.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing DoD / DLA programs and accounts.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of DOD, DLA, and J6 Command mission, operational processes, organizational culture, and management structure.
- Demonstrated experience in leading DoD / DLA program initiatives, working knowledge of federal contracting within the DoD; understanding of DLA organization and programs.
- Understanding of and the ability to participate in business development, capture management, and program management activities. Experience interfacing with customer stakeholders, subject matter experts as well as program and project managers to gather and accurately interpret requirements.
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience collaborating / interfacing / liaison with corporate leadership teams, strategic industry partners, and customer stakeholders.
- Must be a US citizen eligible to pass a background check.
