Overview
Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is seeking an Infrastructure/Technical Advisor (Oracle EBS background) to oversee Infrastructure and IT Operations for a large federal financial system. You will shape the future of IT infrastructure technology, processes, an procedures. You will provide oversight and consultation to the federal lead in managing financial systems infrastructure and IT Ops. You will assist the federal lead partner with system integrator and other stakeholders with the objective to achieve operation efficiencies and strategic goals.
This is a hybrid role in Washington, DC.
What You'll Do
- Technical oversight for Financial Systems infrastructure (e.g.applications, database, network) IT Operation and Security Operations
- Review and provide feedback on system integrator Infrastructure Security and network deliverables
- Provide recommendation for new enhancements, designs and improve existing tech stack, policies and procedures
- Review technical upgrade/changes proposal and provide independent assessment
- Assess existing processes and procedures and recommend changes to improve efficiencies, traceability and transparency of IT Ops for management reporting
- Assess Cloud technologies understanding as well
- Brings technical expertise to support maturation of Oracle cloud solutions
- Support DSOM strategic initiatives by providing feedback, recommendation and technical feasibility in area such as:
- Storage Optimization
- Governance of processes for scaling up and down
- Architecture design
- Follow up on action items and driving initiatives on the ground on behalf of the federal lead
Required Knowledge and Skills
- 15 plus years of experience working on Oracle EBS implementation & O&M project in a technical capacity as a DBA, Tech Architect, Infra Lead, or Tech Manager
- At-least lead one implementation or O&M project using cloud technologies e.g. OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
- Experience with migrating EBS customers to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and optimizing their solution
- Experience and knowledge of security operation
- Experience and knowledge in working hands as required on in EBS Apps, & Databases
- Strong technical and communication skills to effectively support as adviser and consultant to the federal lead
Abilities
- Ability to work closely with management and executive and effectively communicate technical aspects of the project
- Ability to lead technical strategic initiatives
Nice to Haves
- BS in CS, Computer engineering or equivalent experience
- Desired Certification- Oracle, Cloud Technologies
