Overview
In anticipation of a contract award, Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is seeking a M365 Engineer. This role will contribute directly to the acceleration of migration to M365, Device Management, Workstation of the Future, etc. Responsible for technical leadership and driving the Teams, Exchange Online, One Drive, SharePoint administration, PowerApps, cloud automation as well as ensuring adherence to security baselines/conditional access policies for GCC tenant and M365 apps. This resource will be working on day 1 on Exchange Online, Teams and OneDrive to accelerate configuration, documentation and deployment.
Location: This position is a hybrid in Washington, DC. Clearance: This position supports a federal contract and requires US citizenship and an active Public Trust.
What You'll Do
- Provide guidance and operational and project leadership as a Senior staff member of the team, working with Tantus and client stakeholders on strategy and vision
- Perform daily systems management and tuning, including maintenance and trend analysis of the data center infrastructure
- Provide day-to-day technical, administrative, and functional support for various infrastructure systems
- Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of System Center, Microsoft 365, Intune and Microsoft Exchange
- Participate in the configuration and setup of on-pre and cloud technology resources including servers and end user endpoints
- Working with end-users and vendors to support applications and environments
- Develop documentation, admin and best practice guides based on government requirements
- Identify areas of improvement regarding end-user experience from a design standpoint
- Lead initiatives for researching and deploying new applications
- Meeting regularly with clients and attending client meetings and engaging executive management
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Azure experience and/ or Azure certification OR Expert level MSFT certification
- Prefer a seasoned experienced with government migrations
- Active Directory expert
- M365 expertise
- Experience supporting MS Teams
- Office 365 administration
- M365 administration and engineering
- Cloud automation using PowerShell, Python or other scripting/programming languages, as well as cloud native automation tools
- On-prem and cloud networking
