Overview
In anticipation of a contract award, Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is seeking a Technical Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple Cloud infrastructure and migration projects, helping document meeting discussions, actions and decisions, removing roadblocks and working with leadership to move projects forward. You will be operating as part PM and part scrum master as we build out our SAFe expertise in an infrastructure support environment.
Location: This position is a hybrid in Washington, DC. Clearance: This position supports a federal contract and requires US citizenship and an active Public Trust.
What You'll Do
- Technical project management of multiple infrastructure and cloud projects as assigned
- Manage Jira tickets and Confluence pages for assigned projects
- Help design and refine our adoption of SAFe in a non-development environment
- Support leadership by aggregating and publishing status updates
- Support the technical team’s work, helping the engineering staff maintain and improve their overall productivity
- Deliverable document creation, editing and review
- Develop rollup reporting for client and Tantus leadership
- Client satisfaction
Required Knowledge and Skills
- PMP or Agile certification
- 8 years in IT
- 7 years managing complex IT projects
- 5 years working in a client-facing role
- 2 years working in the government space
- Exceptional work ethic and time management skills
- Ability to work well both independently and part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to customer service
Abilities
- Jira and Confluence experience
- Focused yet flexible, being "agile" in mindset
- MS Project, Visio, Office, and other PM and communications tools
- Azure knowledge and/or basic cert
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, networking, storage and MSFT technology
- Familiarity with network, storage and MSFT technology
