POSITION SUMMARY : The Event Operation Stagehand is responsible for setting up and tearing down equipment, assisting with stage production for live acts, client presentations and special event preparations. The Stagehand plays a crucial role paying close attention to detail and ensuring smooth production transitions. They work behind the scenes to support the overall performance.

Assist in Banquet Special Event production preparationsAssist in Banquet Special Event production cleaning and inventory of AV equipmentAssists the Dir. of Events AV with setting stage and coordinating performers décor, load ins and load outsAssists the Dir. of Events AV to keep the Special Events AV equipment ready for every showAssists and / or completes additional tasks as assignedCollaborates with Technicians, and other stagehands to maintain a smooth flow of eventsCollaborates with the Special Events Managers for any last minute client requestsHandles the organization and routing of cabling to ensure a neat and safe venueProvide weekly job status for ongoing projectsMaintain weekly inventory of Special Event AV materialsMotivate employees by creating and maintaining a positive work environmentEnforce company and department policies and proceduresAttend and participate in meetings regarding upcoming or current projectsPerform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the departmentAssists and / or completes additional tasks as assignedIN ADDITION TO THE AFOREMENTIONED ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, THE PRODUCTION ASSSITANT WILL BE EVALUATED ON THE FOLLOWING LEADERSHIP QUALITIES :

Proficient in Windows Office, Microsoft Office, Mac OSXFamiliar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and proceduresKnowledge of basic electronic systemsSKILLS :
