POSITION SUMMARY
TapBlaze is looking for an ambitious, innovative junior product manager to help us drive the roadmap of our hit game, Good Pizza, Great Pizza. The qualified individual is aware of game KPIs and possesses a deep understanding of the game design and economic systems that move the needle. In this role, you will design and deploy experiments, analyze and interpret data, deliver insights and make actionable recommendations that will shape the game and engage our global audience. You'll contribute to improving our game mechanics, multiplayer, monetization, and live event offerings.

OBJECTIVES
- Manage live service optimization efforts
- Help define the long term vision of the game and feature roadmap to increase core KPIs
- Develop and manage a full live-ops event calendar to maximize revenue and keep players engaged through balancing and optimizations
- Use data to drive actionable insights pre- and post-release
- Identify areas of opportunity for improving KPIs, and help prioritize ideas to impact business goals
- Design AB tests to quantify prioritized ideas
- Develop the research strategy to ensure product decisions are data-driven and meet player needs, including the ability to qualitatively and quantitatively teardown games
- Proactively monitor and analyze potential game changes, additions, and industry trends that may pose risks to compliance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and monetization strategies
COMPETENCIES
- Ability to effectively balance the needs of technology, business, and player experience
- Understanding of economy and monetization design
- Plays F2P mobile games
- Continuously looking for ways to improve and iterate on existing framework, or building anew for best results

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 2 years of game design or production experience
- Experience in game design for retention optimization
- Experience in balancing in-game economies
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Los Angeles, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
- Prolonged period of time sitting at a desk and computer
