What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Manager (Hybrid) position at Tapcheck Inc.?
We are seeking a Payroll Manager to join our team in Plano, TX! This is a hybrid role where the employee will be expected to report to the Plano office 3 days a week. As a member of the finance team at Tapcheck, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our financial records are accurate and up-to-date. You will work closely with our Accounting department and report directly to the Controller.
What You’ll Do :
- Prepare and process payroll to ensure accurate, timely processing of payroll in compliance with Company's policies and procedures and with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates
- Perform audits prior to payroll transmission and resolve discrepancies found in reconciliations.
- Prepare payroll related journal entries and reconciliations. Document and update the payroll procedures.
- Ad hoc requests related to payroll reporting from accounting, Sales, HR, and other functional groups.
- Manage daily reconciliations of large data sets and loss of transactions
- Experience working on Bank Reconciliations, A / P, A / R, Payroll and Month End Close
- Experience working within the general ledger and booking journal entries
- Experience reconciling employee expenses and corporate credit cards
- Support external financial audit.
