Position Overview:
The Hospice Director of Community and Culture will be responsible for creating and nurturing an environment that emphasizes compassionate care, diversity, and inclusion both internally for employees and externally within the community. This leader will guide the development and implementation of programs that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention while ensuring that community relations and outreach efforts align with the organization’s mission of providing respectful, compassionate, and dignified end-of-life care.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Business, or comparable experience.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of hospice care principles, end-of-life care, and the unique needs of patients and families.
- Proven track record of building a positive and inclusive workplace culture, with experience managing employee engagement and retention.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse communities, families, employees, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with senior leadership to drive culture and community initiatives.
- A deep commitment to the mission of hospice care and creating a respectful, empathetic environment for both staff and patients.
