Job Description:
As the Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring that food quality, consistency, and presentation are always top-notch. You will manage a team of kitchen staff, ensure the timely preparation of meals, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Your leadership and experience in American cuisine will be key to the success of the restaurant.
Responsibilities:
Lead the kitchen staff to deliver high-quality American cuisine in a timely manner.
Develop and update the menu to reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Ensure consistency and high standards in food preparation, presentation, and taste.
Oversee inventory and order supplies to maintain kitchen stock levels.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is functioning properly and maintain a clean, organized kitchen.
Create and maintain food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Provide guidance and training to kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
Collaborate with front-of-house managers to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role in a casual dining environment.
Strong knowledge and experience with American cuisine and classic comfort food.
Ability to manage and motivate a kitchen team.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Passion for creating exceptional dining experiences.
Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
