What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Expo/Host position at Taphouse Pub and Eatery (Star Location)?
Our restaurant is seeking PT position (15 to 25 hours a week) for someone who wants to serve/host/expo who are excited to join our team and uphold our company's vision and standards. The ideal candidate for this role must have experience in a high volume, casual dining environment and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment.
Nights needed. Days of the week are rotating 3-4 shifts a week
Responsibilities:
- Handle money and valuables equitably and responsibly, following established procedures and operating cash registers.
- Handle multiple responsibilities such as cleaning, ticketing, and serving food.
- Serve food in a timely and efficient manner, serving customers with courtesy.
- Works as part of a team of wait staff.
- Work under pressure during peak hours.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
Skills
- 2 years front of house experience, including experience as a server
- Beer knowledge is preferred but not required. We do have 44 rotating taps as well as a full cocktail and wine menu.
- Understanding of food, beer, wine, and cocktail menus
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiar with industry’s best practice
- Must be of age to serve alcohol in the state of Idaho
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
