Tapori, is a vibrant Indian street food restaurant and cocktail bar in the heart of H Street NE. We are looking for an enthusiastic and personable Host to join our team. If you love creating memorable dining experiences and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm upon arrival.

• Manage reservations and maintain an organized waitlist.

• Provide accurate wait time estimates and keep guests informed.

• Assist in seating guests and ensuring efficient table turnover.

• Collaborate closely with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure a seamless dining experience.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.

• Offer knowledgeable insights about our menu and unique dining experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a host or in a customer-facing role is preferred but not required.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic environment.

• A welcoming and professional demeanor.

• Familiarity with reservation management systems is a plus.

• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
