We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks related to golf course and landscape maintenance, lawn care, and general upkeep of the property. Responsibilities
- Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Maintain flower beds, gardens, and other landscaped areas by planting, watering, and fertilizing as needed.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various maintenance tasks.
- Irrigate grounds to ensure proper hydration of plants and lawns.
- Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs or potential issues.
- Assist in the installation of new landscaping features or improvements.
- Keep maintenance equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning and minor repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to complete larger landscaping projects efficiently.
Skills
- Proficiency in landscape maintenance techniques and practices.
- Experience using hand tools such as pruners, shears, shovels, and rakes.
- Familiarity with lawn care practices including mowing, fertilization, and pest control.
- Certification in pesticide and fertilizer application a plus.
- Ability to maintain irrigation systems effectively.
- Knowledge of groundskeeping principles to enhance the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces.
- Experience with garden design and plant care is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
