What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Taproot Lounge & Cafe?
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SERVER INCLUDE:
- Providing excellent customer service
- Great communication skills
- Working as a team with the kitchen, bar, and other servers
- Ensuring quality service to every guest
- Adding to a positive work environment
- Being knowledgeable of the menu, understand upselling methods, communicate ingredients to guests and dietary needs to kitchen, and have the ability to offer suggestions to guests.
- Taking orders, running food, maintaining cleanliness of the establishment.
- Completing out sheets and other side work requirements each and every day.
- Great time management skills.
- Able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal Taproot server will be positive, personable, and an asset to the team.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a server in a restaurant
- Must have valid Food Handlers Card
- Must have valid OLCC license
- Must have the ability to work 7 days a week, especially weekends.
