We are seeking a HR Internal Compliance Coordinator for our corporate office located in Boone, NC.
Summary/Objective:
This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry and to department personnel in various areas at the restaurant level. This role will assists in carrying out responsibilities with regards to auditing crew personnel files including onboarding, benefits, FMLA, and other internal programs. This position will provide effective communication with other departments.
Essential Functions:
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Administers employment changes and terminations.
- Processes required documents through payroll to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Audits Social Security Verification, E-Verify, I-9 documentation and FMLA requests.
- Conducts audits of onboarding files or other HR programs and recommends additional hiring manager training or corrective action.
- Assists with processing of terminations.
- Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents.
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
- Works closely with the payroll department.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Required Education and Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent. Experience in human resources environment with a general understanding of principles is a plus.
