Jefferson Manor Apartments is seeking a dedicated and experienced HUD Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential community. T
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the community is well-managed, residents are satisfied, and all administrative tasks are handled efficiently. A strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations and experience with LIHTC and Section 8 programs is essential for success in this role.
Duties:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, addressing their concerns and needs promptly.
- Oversee leasing activities, including marketing available units and conducting tours for prospective tenants.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and management of tenant files using Yardi or similar property management software.
- Implement and enforce community rules and regulations while maintaining a fair approach to all residents.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and manage facilities management to ensure a safe and pleasant living environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Stay informed about legal administrative requirements related to property management, including Fair Housing regulations.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers as necessary to maintain community standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in property management or a similar role, with a strong understanding of LIHTC and Section 8 programs.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to file documents accurately and maintain detailed records.
- Familiarity with ONESITE is preferred.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations is essential.
